Just throwing that out there. Lots of women have other celebrities on their “list”, but Jim Carrey makes me laugh and he’s tall, skinny, and has dark hair. These are all traits that my husband has – we laugh regularly, and he is tall, skinny, dark haired, and super handsome if I say so myself.
Back to the point. Do you remember in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, Jim Carrey’s character takes a deep breath and speaks quickly and without breathing for a long time while he lists all of the evidence he sees? Okay, imagine that scene, and read these updates on Wes quickly and without breathing…….
Wes had his fourth round of chemo last week. He is having a harder go of it this time, with lots of nausea. He is predictably and understandably super clingy. It is really hard to see him vomiting. Doctors are worried about his weight so we are trying condensed formula bottles for a few weeks, will keep you posted on that as I have news. He saw snow for the first time last week – video follows. I am going out of town this weekend from Saturday morning to Sunday night – going to be very hard to be without my little man. Next Monday he has a vision test. They use electrodes and a computer screen with waves of black and grey on it to suss out just how good his vision is in each eye. His next round of chemo is January 3rd and 4th, and then the last one is January 31st and February 1st. He has a sedated eye exam along with each of those rounds of chemo as well. So we will be spending his birthday in the hospital. Not sure what kind of celebration we will do when he’s done with chemo. I have been reading that some people don’t celebrate, some people do. We will for sure be celebrating when his Hickman (central line) comes out!!!!!
